Is she stupid if she doesn’t buy into our well constructed argument?

When we have an idea that she doesn’t see the value in, we blame her for not understanding.

But who is the stupid one? Who is showing the lack of understanding?

Surely as a leader we have a role to try and understand her ‘world view’ as part of the process of being understood.

It’s unlikely we will change that view but by understanding it we thave two options:

1. We can tell our story in a different way so that she buys into our argument.

2. We decide that it’s not worth it and seek out others whose world view we share.

It all starts when we recognise she’s not a stupid girl.
