(If you haven’t heard this song, I urge you to press play. One of the best songs ever written in my humble opinion!)
I was involved in a situation yesterday where I felt really let down by someone.
Afterwards I spent a lot of time thinking about my response and how I should react.
Should I sulk and go into a mood to show my displeasure?
Should I snap at them to make sure they knew I felt let down?
Should I talk about how annoyed I was to everyone I could, in the hope that this finds its way back to the intended recipient?
I then reminded myself of another post (ironically enough also by Radiohead) where I talked about letting the bullets of frustration pass through rather than holding onto them.
I still feel let down but applying the learning means I can choose my response appropriately.
Not letting it hang around feels like the best thing to do.
This post is part of my 60 day blog challenge.
