Each Friday as part of this blog I share a few things that I have loved during the previous week. It might be a book, a film, a podcast or something less tangible like a behaviour or a feeling. This week I just want to concentrate on one thing and that is a band called Nothing But Thieves.

I’ve been a fan of this up and coming band for about a year now. They have even inspired a couple of my previous posts. I’ve heard them described as a bit like Radiohead, Muse and Jeff Buckley with a bit of Joy Division thrown in, which I think is a fair description.

Earlier this week I got a chance to see them live again at a small venue in Sheffield, which for international readers is a city in Northern England.

I’ve seen the band play live three times now and they have developed incredibly. Not that they were poor when I saw them the first time but they now have such a tight sound when playing live whilst Connor’s falsetto voice translates fantastically well from the studio. They have been supporting Muse on a large stadium tour and I’m sure that has helped them to develop musically too.

If you have the opportunity to see them live, I urge you to take it. You won’t regret it.

In the meantime, here’s an example of their work…..
