Everybody wants to be liked. I don’t think I’ve ever come across anybody who has gone out of their way to be loathed.

The question is how much of ourselves are we prepared to sacrifice to be adored?

How far are we prepared to go to be appreciated?

Acceptance is an addiction. The more approval we receive the more of our principles we are prepared to sacrifice to gain further approval.

We quieten down our own unique voice to fit in with the crowd.

We keep our extraordinary ideas to ourselves for fear of being singled out.

We avoid looking for new answers to problems because we don’t want to be seen as different.

Is it worth it?

I don’t think it is.

You don’t need to sell your soul to be adored!
