For some reason my iPod has been playing this song on shuffle quite a lot recently. It reminds me of the Erma Bombeck quote,
“Worry is like a rocking chair: it gives you something to do but never gets you anywhere”.
It’s a great quote and brings to mind two thoughts:
1. How true is that? We can spend as much time we want worrying about issues, but it’s only action that does anything about them.
2. It’s easy to remember this when we are relaxed, but harder when issues present themselves.
Never is it more important to be the most optimistic person in the room than when the worries start to appear!
